About The Position

Tia is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants to provide on-call/per diem coverage across Tia’s Eastside Los Angeles clinics. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, allowing clinicians to quickly integrate into any clinic and deliver high-quality, whole-person care from day one. The position supports continuity of care during urgent needs, high-volume periods, and planned coverage gaps, ensuring patients receive timely and excellent care. This is a role for confident, adaptable providers ready to operate across a broad scope of primary and women’s health immediately. Beyond direct patient care, providers will contribute to evolving Tia’s care model through collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, clinical feedback, and innovation in care delivery. On-call providers serve as standby coverage, with shifts being 8 hours (between 8:00 am–7:00 pm). Providers must be able to report onsite within two hours if activated. Availability must be indicated, with a minimum of one day per week (weekdays or weekends). During downtime, providers may support virtual care, inbox coverage, or care team workflows. A comprehensive 40-hour onboarding program is required, ideally completed within 1-2 weeks of the start date, including IT & Systems Integration, Core Training Modules, and Mentor Shadowing (in-person, virtual, or hybrid).

  • Procedural competency.
  • Confident performing high-volume procedures, including IUD insertions and basic dermatologic procedures.
  • Experience with — or willingness to train and map to — expanded specialties (e.g., weight management, menopause care, advanced dermatology).
  • Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with an active, unrestricted California license.
  • Proven ability to deliver both primary care and gynecologic care across a broad spectrum of women’s health needs.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with minimal oversight.
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to triage, prioritize, and adapt quickly.

  • Be inclusive, sex-positive, and committed to delivering care that is affirming for all patients.
  • Be tech-forward and comfortable navigating EMRs, virtual care, and evolving care delivery models.
  • Be flexible and reliable — when on call, the team can count on you to show up and deliver.
  • Completion of a comprehensive 40-hour onboarding program.
  • Minimum one day per week availability.
