We are seeking a Per Diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in our Occupational Medicine Health Unit in Coldwater, Michigan. You will be joining a team of physical therapists, athletic trainers, certified medical assistants, and case managers to provide a comprehensive team approach of care to our client company's employees. Requirements

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in good standing in the state of Michigan
Good orthopedic skills
Understanding of occupational medicine
Excellent and dynamic people skills
Good communication skills
Professional confidence
Independent thinker

Nice To Haves

Preferably at least two years' experience

Responsibilities

Evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries such as sprains, strains, lacerations, and contusions
DOT (Department of Transportation) physicals
Joint injections
Suturing
Medical screening
Treatment planning
Completing clinical notes
Working closely with our Case Manager and worker's compensation case management team
