About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a busy Urology clinic with Laredo Physician group. This role offers a competitive compensation package with benefits, allowing you to provide comprehensive primary care services while working alongside a collaborative healthcare team within an integrated health system. This is an outpatient care position within a multispecialty integrated health system, serving a diverse primary care patient population including Advantage and Medicaid patients.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active or eligible Texas license
Nice To Haves
- Prior family medicine experience preferred
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care
- Support physicians with value-based care initiatives
- Educate patients on proper utilization of emergency and urgent care services
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate coding, risk adjustment, and quality documentation
- Participate in after-hours and weekend call rotation
- Cover for physicians during leave periods
- Champion coordinated care models for Medicare and Medicaid populations
