About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Department of Urology. This role involves joining an established group of 4 Surgeons and 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians within an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. Responsibilities will include clinic, hospital, and OR coverage, along with surgical call with a stipend.

Requirements

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Nice To Haves

• Previous surgical experience preferred but not essential
