Per Diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Inpatient Urology, Worcester, MA
About The Position
UMass Memorial Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Inpatient Urology team in Worcester, MA. The APP will perform comprehensive histories and physicals, formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, interpret labs and imaging, coordinate consultations, and perform bedside/clinical procedures per delineation of privileges. The position utilizes Epic EMR and integrated clinical systems.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Eligible for or current Massachusetts licensure with national certification (NCCPA, ANCC, AANP, as applicable)
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and DEA license required
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients, including daily rounds, evaluations, diagnostic review, and progress note documentation
