About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our growing team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role involves providing comprehensive care to critically ill and premature neonates in a high-acuity NICU setting. The APP will perform newborn assessments, daily rounds, and ongoing management of neonatal conditions, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with neonatologists and the care team. The position focuses on managing patients with complex conditions such as respiratory distress, prematurity complications, infections, and congenital anomalies. Requirements
- A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Eligible or current Massachusetts license
- National certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
- Federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration
