About The Position

HealthCARE Express is seeking a compassionate, motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its urgent care team in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. The provider will care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment, evaluating and examining patients, performing minor procedures, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and prescribing medications when appropriate. The role also includes supporting and leading clinic teams. The provider will communicate effectively, lead by example, help foster a positive team environment, and partner with the administrative team and fellow clinic lead on communication, team engagement, and progress toward clinic goals. HealthCARE Express emphasizes taking initiative and supporting teammates to help the clinic run smoothly while maintaining high standards of patient care. This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and rotating Saturday shifts from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. New hires may be required to attend a four-day training session in Texarkana, Texas, as part of onboarding. Pay starts at $70 per hour and depends on experience.

Requirements

Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Strong clinical judgment.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of experience in urgent care, family practice, or emergency medicine; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
