Licensed Vocational Nurse - Mt. Pleasant, TX
About The Position
HealthCARE Express is seeking a dependable, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its urgent care team in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. The nurse will provide hands-on care to patients of all ages, work alongside Providers and the clinic team, and help keep the clinic running smoothly in a fast-paced urgent care environment. The schedule is full-time, with 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM and rotating Saturdays. Pay is $26 per hour. Full-time team members have access to a comprehensive benefits package. Eligible team members may also receive financial assistance toward continuing education through the HealthCARE Express Nursing Scholarship Program, which offers opportunities twice each year. X-ray certification is required as part of onboarding; HealthCARE Express pays for the course, and successful completion results in an automatic pay increase.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- X-ray certification is required as part of the onboarding process.
- Be reliable and patient-focused, and comfortable working in a busy urgent care environment and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs and patient histories.
- Administer oral, intramuscular (IM), and intravenous (IV) medications.
- Perform venipuncture and TB skin testing.
- Apply splints, dressings, and other treatments.
- Remove sutures and staples.
- Assist Providers with procedures and patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
- Help keep the clinic running smoothly.
