Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Part Time
About The Position
QuadMed is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in Advance, NC. The role involves working with a team-oriented staff to provide quality care to employees and their dependents. The practice focuses on quality of care rather than productivity, serving a commercially insured patient base with an outpatient, preventative medicine focus. The position offers work-life balance, a realistic patient panel size, and utilizes the Epic EMR system. Requirements
- Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience working with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Active and unrestricted applicable licensure.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
- NPI & DEA.
- Current National Board Certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to employees and their dependents.
- Work independently.
- Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Potentially obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location.
