About The Position

MaxHealth is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy internal medicine practice at its 53rd Ave clinic, approximately five minutes from Lakewood Ranch. The provider will evaluate, manage, and treat the practice’s patients, working under the direction of an attending physician to establish treatment protocols, evaluate and diagnose patients, initiate therapy, and perform other acts of diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. The practice offers a base salary with the potential for a performance-based bonus. Internal medicine or primary care experience is required; managed care experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Experience in an internal medicine or primary care setting.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Active Florida license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Managed care experience.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems.

Responsibilities
