Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Bradenton/LWR
About The Position
MaxHealth is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy internal medicine practice at its 53rd Ave clinic, approximately five minutes from Lakewood Ranch. Candidates must have experience in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care setting. The provider will evaluate, manage, and treat the practice’s patients, working under the direction of the Attending Physician to establish treatment protocols, evaluate and diagnose patients, initiate therapy, and perform other acts of diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. Experience with managed care is preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Compensation includes a base salary with the potential for a performance-based bonus. MaxHealth is a Florida-based, value-based primary care platform serving adults and seniors. Its team-based, integrated care model provides clinical resources and Integrated Care Teams intended to streamline workflows, support care coordination, and reduce administrative burden. Providers receive an in-depth training and orientation process. The organization emphasizes continuity of care, proactive population health management, prevention, and chronic disease management. After-hours call is voluntary at the majority of practices, with additional compensation available for providers who elect to participate.
Requirements
- Experience in an Internal Medicine or Primary Care setting.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Active Florida license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with managed care.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, manage, and treat patients of the practice.
