About The Position

Wellstar Gynecologic Oncology is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team at Wellstar Vinings Health Park in Smyrna, Georgia. This is a full-time outpatient role focused on follow-up care for established Gynecologic Oncology patients. The position offers clinical autonomy, continuity of care, and support from an established physician team.

The APP works in clinic five days per week with built-in administrative time, provides telephone-only call every three weeks, and performs in-office procedures as indicated. The successful candidate will practice with a high degree of clinical independence while delivering compassionate, specialized, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current or eligible for applicable State of Georgia licensure.
• Appropriate national board certification based on NP or PA credentials.
• Prior Gynecologic Oncology experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to practice with a high degree of clinical independence.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.
• BLS/CPR certification at time of hire.
