About The Position

Marathon Health is a leading advanced primary care provider that partners with employer and union plan sponsors to improve health outcomes for millions of Americans. They operate nationwide health centers (onsite, nearsite, and network) and offer virtual primary care. Marathon Health utilizes a value-based model designed to enhance the healthcare experience for both members and providers, while simultaneously achieving significant cost savings for plan sponsors. The company is certified as a Great Place to Work®, highlighting its dedication to fostering an inclusive, high-trust culture that supports employee thriving. Marathon Health emphasizes work-life balance, offering a smaller patient panel size, longer appointment times (20-60 minutes), a strong focus on prevention, wellness, and disease management, and reduced administrative and insurance-related tasks. Success is measured by health outcomes rather than patient volume or billing, indicating a departure from a Fee for Service Model. As a provider at Marathon Health, you will practice relationship-based medicine at the top of your license, offering holistic care that includes prevention, chronic disease management, and health education. You will have access to resources like UpToDate and RubiconMD at no cost.
