Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Dundee
About The Position
MaxHealth is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy internal medicine practice in Dundee, Florida. The role is for a mid-level provider with experience in an internal medicine or primary care setting, who will evaluate, manage, and treat the practice’s patients. Managed care experience is preferred. Under the direction of the Attending Physician, the provider will establish treatment protocols; evaluate and diagnose patients; initiate therapy; and perform other acts of diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. The position is Monday through Friday. Compensation includes a base salary with the potential for a performance-based bonus. MaxHealth is a value-based primary care platform serving adults and seniors throughout Florida. Providers work within a team-based, integrated care model supported by Integrated Care Teams and clinical resources intended to streamline workflows, support care coordination, and allow more time with patients. New providers receive in-depth training and orientation. The organization emphasizes continuity of care, proactive population health management, prevention, and chronic disease management. Most locations offer predictable weekday schedules, and after-hours call is voluntary at the majority of practices, with additional compensation available for those who elect to participate.
Requirements
- Experience in an internal medicine or primary care setting.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Current, active Florida license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Managed care experience.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Responsibilities
