About The Position

Centurion is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team at Idaho State Correctional Center in Kuna, Idaho. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Idaho Department of Correction.

Working under physician supervision in a correctional environment, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant assists in delivering healthcare and managing patient care. The role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, performing assessments, diagnosing patients, and managing medications.

Requirements

• Maintain a nurse practitioner or physician assistant license, registration, or certification to practice medicine with physician supervision in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Have and maintain an active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate.
• Maintain a written collaborative practice agreement if required by state licensure.
• Pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Have a minimum of one year of experience working in an adult primary care or urgent care practice.
