PA/NP/ARNP Full-time Opportunity
About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team at Hardee Correctional Institution in Bowling Green, Florida. Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections. Working under a physician’s supervision in a correctional environment, the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant assists with healthcare delivery and patient care management. The role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, conducting assessments, diagnosing patients, and managing medications. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Centurion contracts with state and local governments to provide healthcare services in correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
Requirements
- Must have a Florida license.
- Must have ARNP certification.
- Must have a DEA license or be able to obtain one.
- Must have up-to-date CPR certification.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and NPDB check.
Responsibilities
