About The Position

QuadMed is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its North Central and East Central Consortium clinic in Peru, Indiana. The clinic emphasizes quality of care rather than productivity, serves a commercially insured patient base, and provides outpatient care with a preventative medicine focus. The position offers a realistic patient panel size, work-life balance, and a collegial environment. The clinic uses Epic electronic medical records.

The role provides an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients through unrushed visits and help patients take an active role in their care. The schedule is 40 hours. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary and eligibility for a yearly bonus based on quality of care and overall health center performance, rather than RVUs. Malpractice and liability coverage are provided.

Requirements

• Completed master's degree-level Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of three years of primary care practice experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Active and unrestricted applicable licensure.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification, or obtain it within 60 days of hire.
• NPI and DEA.
• Current national board certification.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner Certification, depending on job responsibilities or location.
