About The Position

Advanced Pain Care is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Bastrop clinic. The provider is a licensed independent specialist and member of the professional team responsible for managing and coordinating health care for pain management patients. The role requires following applicable state and federal rules and regulations and standards of care, including assessing health status, diagnosing, developing and implementing plans of care and treatment, and evaluating patient status. Compensation starts at $110,000 and includes a base salary plus a monthly bonus program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D coverage, retirement (401(k)), holiday pay, PTO, and supplemental options. Mid-level provider benefits also include CME days and an annual CME allowance, professional liability coverage, license renewal, and reimbursement of professional membership dues.

Requirements

Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Texas NP or PA license.
Texas Medical Board certification.
DEA license.
NPI number.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider cards.
Strong computer skills and ability to navigate an Electronic Medical Record effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to think independently and make sound decisions.
