About The Position
Baptist Health is recognized as a top place to work in health care and cares for more patients in Northeast Florida than any other provider. It is Jacksonville's only locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system, providing a full spectrum of preventive and specialty care through over 200 locations and six hospitals. The Baptist Hospitalist Team consists of internists and family physicians who exclusively practice in the hospital, working in partnership with outpatient and post-acute care physicians to provide care across the spectrum. The team provides care on-site, 24/7 and is a valued and respected part of the inpatient team. This role involves managing 16-20 patients per day using the Epic EHR System.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Minimum of one year of experience in Hospital Medicine or Critical Care/ICU
- Certified and licensed APRN/PA
- Current Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification, or ability to obtain
- Valid Florida driver's license
Responsibilities
- Provide care on-site, 24/7 as part of the inpatient team.
- Manage 16-20 patients per day.
- Utilize the Epic EHR System for patient care documentation.
