This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The role is to cover a provider shortage and an increase in patient volume in an outpatient clinic setting. The coverage is needed immediately for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The primary focus will be on gynecological cases, with potential to manage obstetric patients. Responsibilities include well-woman visits and telehealth appointments. The NP must have strong gynecological experience, including performing ultrasounds, dating pregnancies up to 8 weeks, managing preventive screenings, abnormal menstrual bleeding, HRT, Bartholin duct abscesses, and Pap smears. There are no on-call responsibilities. The estimated patient load is 20-24 patients per day. The clinic is supported by RNs and LVNs, with an on-site supervising physician. The Electronic Medical Records system used is EPIC. Candidates must be board-certified and hold AHA BLS certification.
