About The Position

This full-time advanced practice provider position delivers outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care in a high-volume, team-based practice. The primary location is Atrium Health Myers Park OB/GYN in Charlotte, North Carolina, with additional coverage at Atrium Health NorthPark OB/GYN as needed. The practice serves a diverse urban patient population, including many economically disadvantaged and vulnerable patients.

The role includes routine prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic visits; office-based procedures such as long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) insertions and endometrial biopsies; and colposcopy when trained. The clinician manages a broad range of conditions and collaborates with physicians as needed, while delivering patient-centered care focused on access and health equity.

The provider works alongside OB/GYN physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff, with dedicated clinical and administrative support. The practice is affiliated with an OB/GYN residency program, offering opportunities for teaching and mentorship. Structured onboarding and leadership support are provided. The position has full-time weekday clinic sessions, 40 hours per week, and no call requirements.

Requirements

• Be a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, or eligible for licensure.
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrate a commitment to equitable, patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Women’s health or OB/GYN experience is preferred.
• Colposcopy experience or training is relevant to performing colposcopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic visits.
