About The Position

This locum physician position provides specialized obstetric and gynecological care to adult patients in an inpatient hospital setting in Warrenton, Virginia. The practice provides comprehensive patient management, including labor and delivery, emergency surgeries, and postpartum care. The physician provides 24-hour call coverage, which may include in-house duties and beeper or phone responsibilities, and documents patient interactions using Meditech EMR.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Availability for all listed coverage dates.
• Clean malpractice background to obtain temporary privileges.
• Note prior work history at the facility, if applicable.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration.

Nice To Haves

• Active Virginia state license.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency surgeries related to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Conduct gynecologic and obstetric triage evaluations.
• Manage labor and delivery processes.
• Oversee patient recovery and postpartum care.
