About The Position

Emplify Health (by Gundersen) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Viroqua Family Medicine Clinic. The role provides full-spectrum family medicine in an outpatient-only setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., with an at-home, phone-based call rotation. Advanced practice clinicians work under the direct supervision of a physician. Clinicians may be asked to provide outreach services as part of their role in the health system. Teaching students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff is an expectation of all clinicians and is central to the organization’s medical education philosophy. Emplify Health is a physician-led, not-for-profit integrated healthcare system serving communities across western Wisconsin, northeastern Iowa, and southeastern Minnesota. It employs more than 900 clinicians and describes its mission as excellence in patient care, education, research, and improving community health. The position is based in Viroqua, Wisconsin.

Requirements

Complete an accredited program.
Be eligible to obtain a license to practice in the multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
Demonstrate a high level of clinical proficiency and excellent decision-making skills.
Work independently and effectively as a member of a healthcare team.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Collaborate effectively and establish and build relationships with others.
Have proven organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
Demonstrate the ability to use modern charting technology.
