About The Position

This role is for a Nurse Manager in the Inpatient Rehabilitation department at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL. The position is full-time with a day shift schedule. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, conducting staff hiring, training, and development, identifying and resolving issues affecting patient care, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and monitoring expenditures to ensure budget compliance.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.
Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.
Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
