How You’ll Make an Impact As a Nurse Manager, you’ll be a trusted partner in our patients’ recovery journeys. You will: Assist the CNO in directing all nursing activities within the hospital and in assessing and monitoring the quality of nursing services provided Assist the CNO in recruitment and interviewing of staff and evaluation of employee performance. Conduct new employee training and orientation. Assist in review and revision of policies and procedures. Participate in departmental and team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans. T The Nurse Manager is also a working RN and routinely personally executes nursing care duties to ensure quality patient care and proper execution and documentation of the treatment plan. Your skills, compassion, and critical thinking will help patients achieve greater independence, strength, and quality of life.

Requirements

  • Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
  • CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
  • Two years’ leadership experience preferred.
  • Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
