Provides administrative oversight and assists with day-to-day operation of avenue. Provides direction of services, staffing, training, budgeting and equipment for avenue. Responsible for assuring quality and fulfillment of all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Valid NYS license as a Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- 3 yrs experience in Long Term Care
- Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process
- Excellent organizational skills
- Progressive leadership roles in nursing

- BSN preferred
- MSN desired
Responsibilities
- Oversees the plan of care for all residents within the designated program
- Ensures that service line standards of care, policies, procedures and protocols are current
- Reviews potential and current residents for service line appropriateness
- Develops and implements a quality improvement plan incorporating quality care indicators and measurable outcomes
- Reviews appropriateness of associate applicants for program placement
- Responsible for bench marking to enhance program
- Assesses customer satisfaction and develops a follow up plan when appropriate
- Participates in the budgeting process and financial performance of program
