Nurse Manager Cardiac Stepdown & CVICU Full Time
About The Position
The Nurse Manager assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating the clinical activities and operations of Unit. The Nurse Manager directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff, and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director, Nursing. The Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based practice utilizing the nursing process. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned. This opportunity is for a full-time Nurse Manager position over our Cardiac Stepdown and Cardiac ICU.
Requirements
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- BSN, required
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, required
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive management experience, required
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
- Current NIH Stroke Certification
