The Nurse Manager - OBOT will be responsible for the organization and coordination of Suboxone and Vivitrol schedules, patient distribution across sites, and management of provider time blocks. This role involves managing the provider registry for patients receiving MAT, serving as the primary point of contact for accurate information regarding protocols for Suboxone and Vivitrol, and providing patient education materials. The Nurse Manager will act as a liaison for patient counseling and primary care coordination, offering support during all phases of patient treatment including screening, intake, induction, stabilization, and maintenance. Responsibilities include conducting random nurse visits to ensure compliance and minimize medication diversion, providing clear vision and oversight for the program and any associated grant mandates, and attending mandatory program meetings and trainings. The role ensures staff receive appropriate training mandated by grants or CHC, and requires travel to all CHC sites for provider support, staff management, and patient care. The Nurse Manager will develop and maintain relationships with DPH, including monthly data submission, and create individualized case management plans in coordination with members and providers. This position involves communication with providers, patients, and families, maintaining the treatment database, and monthly reporting to the Quality Improvement Committee. Audits and reviews will be conducted to monitor staff compliance with agency policies, and collaboration with CHC supervisors and department managers is expected. The Nurse Manager will participate in defining program standards, practices, and educational needs for OBOT/MAT staff, ensuring safe, compassionate, and confidential care. This includes conducting annual evaluations, competencies, scheduling, delegating work, and taking disciplinary actions for program staff, as well as counseling and supporting staff on personnel issues. Participation in quality improvement, PCMH initiatives, and community activities like health fairs and outreach is also required. The role demands excellent customer service, effective communication (email, phone), team building, and analytical/data management skills using PC-based software (MS Office).
