About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in Savannah, GA. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a day shift schedule that does not require weekend work. The role involves overseeing the daily operations of a high-volume delivery unit, managing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and collaborating with various teams to maintain standards and efficiency in a high-risk obstetric environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years RN experience in Labor & Delivery (acute care)
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in L&D
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Georgia RN License or Compact License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required

• Master’s preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Labor & Delivery unit
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and team performance
• Ensure high-quality care for high-volume delivery unit (~300 births/month)
• Monitor clinical outcomes and enforce safety standards
• Lead policy development and implementation initiatives
• Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to nursing staff
• Collaborate with Women’s Services leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Support patient-centered care in high-risk obstetric environment
• Maintain operational efficiency and workflow management
