About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Nurse Manager – Mother/Baby (Postpartum) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Savannah, GA. This role involves overseeing the daily operations of a 22-bed Mother/Baby unit, managing staffing, scheduling, and performance of approximately 29.5 FTEs. The Nurse Manager will ensure the delivery of high-quality postpartum and newborn care, lead policy development and implementation, and monitor unit quality and patient outcomes. This position requires providing leadership and mentorship to experienced nursing staff, collaborating with the Women’s Services leadership team, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards. The role also involves supporting patient-centered care in a high-risk postpartum environment and maintaining operational efficiency and workflow management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years recent RN experience in Women’s Services (Mother/Baby/Postpartum)
  • Minimum 1+ year leadership or supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Active Georgia RN License or Compact License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required (within 6 months if not current)
