Nurse LPN (Part Time)
About The Position
Pyramid Healthcare is hiring a part-time LPN at its Mountaineer Inpatient program in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The nurse provides clinical care to clients receiving inpatient treatment for substance use disorders and supports them through the early stages of recovery. The position is described as having minimal physical demands and does not involve ADLs, IVs, ports, midlines, blood draws, or catheters. The facility uses an electronic eMAR. The schedule is 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 12–24 hours per week. Pay is $28–$32 per hour, plus differentials. The role offers experience in substance use disorder and detox nursing. Pyramid Healthcare provides behavioral healthcare services, including psychiatry, addiction recovery, and mental disorder treatment. Requirements
- Current LPN license in West Virginia.
- Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification.
- A compassionate approach and interest in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.
Responsibilities
- Complete initial nursing assessments for new admissions.
- Administer medications and provide medication education.
- Monitor clients during detox and complete COWS and CIWA assessments.
- Support medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
