LPN Nurse - Part-Time
About The Position
Merakey is seeking a part-time LPN Nurse to join the team at its Season’s residential LTSR program in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania. The schedule is every other Saturday and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and the pay rate is $32.78 per hour. The LPN provides assessments of psychiatric and medical conditions for the residential program, reviews medication administration records, and completes nursing notes for each resident. During shifts, the nurse administers and documents medication and therapeutic treatments according to prescribers’ orders, participates in staff team-oriented processes, fulfills applicable job functions, and performs other appropriate duties. Merakey is a nonprofit provider of developmental, behavioral health, and education services. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Hold a current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Have at least 1 year of nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments of psychiatric and medical conditions for the residential program.
- Complete medication administration record (MAR) reviews.
- Complete nursing notes for each resident.
- Administer and document medication and therapeutic treatments in accordance with prescribers’ orders while on shift.
- Engage in staff team-oriented processes and comply with applicable job functions as needed.
- Perform additional duties as appropriate.
