About The Position
The Nurse Extern II collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program.
- Successfully entered their senior year in an accredited school of nursing.
- Must pass all senior courses to remain in the program.
- AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Participating in patient care planning, implementation, observation, and evaluation.
- Reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse.
- Performing patient care activities.
- Having a 1:1 preceptorship with a Registered Nurse.
