About The Position

This position is responsible for acting as a clinical educational resource for nursing unit personnel; facilitating the learning process and evaluating learning outcomes; planning, coordinating, and in conjunction with the Nursing Director, evaluating unit-specific orientation programs; participating in educational activities within the specific Department, the Patient Care Portfolio, and throughout the Hospital; and performing other related duties as required/assigned. The role requires demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital.

Requirements

Minimum two (2) years recent Surgical nursing experience
Demonstrated ability in communicating with and teaching adults
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
Current CRNM registration
Successful completion of the BLS Instructor Certificate (to be obtained at a time scheduled by the employer or at a time mutually agreed upon between the nurse and the employer)
