About The Position

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting a Nurse Educator to support the Nursing Excellence department. The role develops and implements continuing education and orientation programs, and conducts staff development and mandatory in-service programs for nursing and hospital staff. Nurse Educators develop, implement, and evaluate staff training on new products, equipment, and procedures; assess educational needs and plan and implement programs to address them; prepare instructional materials; and develop and revise policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current, maintained Registered Nurse license with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current, maintained Healthcare Provider-level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Three years of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital within the past five years. A Master’s Degree in Nursing may substitute for one year of required experience.
• Must pass a background investigation, physical, and verification of employment history and education.
• Additional certifications may be required depending on assignment and must be maintained throughout employment.
• Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
