About The Position

The Nurse Consultant I will work with an interdisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Social Workers, Rehabilitation Staff, Nurses and Health Care Technicians to plan, development and implement individualized treatment plans to assist patients in meeting their goals. This position will collaborate closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and provide education and support to all staff. Additionally, will serve as a clinical resource nurse and role model for all patient populations. Position will participate in the development of nursing care standards, educational materials, policies and procedures. The position also takes an active role in unit and hospital-wide audits and utilizes results to educate staff and improve patient care.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
• One year of experience in the area of specialization (Registered Nurse)
