About The Position

Broughton Hospital (BH) is currently accepting applications for a Nurse Consultant I - Nurse Clinician. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity for an expert-level Registered Nurse to influence clinical practice, elevate quality of care, and support the ongoing growth of nursing excellence across the facility. The Nurse Clinician serves as a highly skilled clinical consultant to Nursing Services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in alignment with regulatory standards and best practices. In close collaboration with Nursing Leadership and front-line staff, individuals in this role help design, refine, and enhance nursing programs throughout assigned service areas.

Requirements

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina
One year of experience in the area of specialization.

Demonstrated experience working as an effective member of an interdisciplinary team
Experience providing individual guidance, support, and educational instruction to staff members
Experience in developing and/or presenting educational materials, as well as experience in data collection and/or analysis
A minimum of two years of experience practicing as a Registered Nurse
Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a psychiatric care setting
