About The Position
The Nurse Assistant works full-time for 36 hours per week in 12-hour shifts beginning at 7 AM. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit, the role assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care. Care should account for the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated. The Nurse Assistant also helps maintain a safe and clean environment.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
- Successful completion of an approved Aide Training Program/SRNA.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Obtain routine vital signs.
- Provide routine patient care.
- Document patient care in the EMR within the scope of practice.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment.
