About The Position
The Nurse Aide assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse for the team and/or unit, the Nurse Aide also helps maintain a safe and clean environment. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week in 12-hour day shifts beginning at 7:00 AM.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an approved Aide Training Program or SRNA.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Obtain routine vital signs and provide routine care.
- Document patient care in the EMR within the scope of practice.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
