About The Position

The Nurse Aide assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit, the Nurse Aide also assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a part-time position, 24 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts beginning at 7 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• Successful completion of an approved Aide Training Program/SRNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide nursing care, considering pediatric and geriatric patients’ special needs when indicated.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit.
• Provide personal hygiene care.
• Obtain routine vital signs.
• Provide routine care.
• Document patient care in the EMR within the scope of practice.
