About The Position
As a Nurse Assistant at Henry Ford Health’s Jackson hospital campus, you will help ensure patients’ safety, comfort, and well-being under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will provide essential patient care, assist with care planning and implementation, and respond to emergent situations according to established procedures. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician), or current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing, or foreign training and licensure as an RN without a Michigan RN license, or completion of a Medical Assistant program with or without experience, or at least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
