This position supports patients/residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. The Nurse Aide will also take vital signs, height, and weight measurements, and maintain patient rooms. Responsibilities include observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, orienting patients and families to the unit, and assisting with clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records. The role also involves maintaining stock supply items and performing tasks outlined in the Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II scope of practice. Additionally, the Nurse Aide will perform technical tasks with appropriate training, such as administering 12-Lead Electrocardiogram tests and routine venipuncture.
