About The Position
The Nursing Assistant – Associate is the entry point for the Providence Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program. The program provides training and support for individuals with no or very little direct healthcare experience and prepares participants for state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. After completing the program’s education and clinical content and validating all required skills, the Nursing Assistant – Associate advances to the Nursing Assistant – Journey position. The position is with Providence Alaska Medical Center and supports Providence’s patient-focused, whole-person care mission.
Requirements
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
