About The Position

Hillview Health Care Center is seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals to join their team as Nurse Aides in Training. This is a paid training opportunity that prepares individuals to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while working and gaining valuable hands-on experience. While completing training, the individual will work as a Household Assistant, supporting residents and staff. Upon receiving CNA certification, the applicant will transfer into an open CNA position on the PM shift. Household Assistant hours during training can be discussed.

Requirements

• Individuals at least 17 years old
• Enrolled or willing to enroll in an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Ability to be placed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry within 120 days of training enrollment
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to excellent service
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job (lifting, mobility, resident support)
• Must pass a background check under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with seniors or cleaning/housekeeping is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living needs under supervision
• Support resident-centered care and help create a positive home environment
• Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks in resident living areas
• Stock supplies, assist with meals, and help with group or individual activities
• Follow safety, infection control, and resident care procedures
• Collaborate with a supportive team to meet individualized resident needs
• Maintain resident rights, confidentiality, and uphold respectful, compassionate service
