About The Position

The Nuclear Verifications Processor role is an entry-level position within Pinnacle Investigations' Nuclear Department. This department is responsible for completing background reports for clients governed by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC). During training, employees will learn about the specific regulations followed by this department. The role involves computer-based desk work, including taking inbound calls from employers, schools, military facilities, and personal character references of applicants, transferring these calls to processing employees, and transposing data into the company system. This position is crucial for providing top-tier service to clients and applicants while supporting the Nuclear Department team. Requirements

  • Knowledgeable computer skills including but not limited to: web navigation, basic computer file management, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Typing Speed: 50 WPM
  • Able to maintain organized workflows while ensuring accuracy in all tasks
  • Effective time-management skills with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and priorities
  • Resourceful problem-solver with strong critical-thinking abilities
  • Open-minded and willing to adjust processes based on coaching and guidance
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in areas such as: Data Entry, Customer Service, Call Center, and Administration

Responsibilities

  • Transposition of data from Word and PDF documents, faxes, and emails
  • Receive and transfer incoming calls
  • Conduct phone-based verifications of personal character references
  • Detailed documentation of calls and actions taken on reports
  • Ensure professionalism and confidentiality in all communications
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies
  • Prompt adaptability to new procedures and policies (e.g., government, industry, company, and client requirements)
  • Perform self-reviews to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Other duties as assigned
