The purpose of this department is to complete background reports for clients, who are specifically governed by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) and Nuclear Regulatory Committee (NRC). This is an entry-level position. During training, employees are taught about the regulations this department follows – knowledge and understanding of NEI, NRC, and local or federal laws regarding background investigations prior to application and/or acceptance of this role is not expected. This role engages in computer-based desk work, including but not limited to: taking inbound calls from employers, schools, military facilities, and personal character references of applicants, transferring those calls to employees processing reports, and transposition of data into our system. This role plays an important part in ensuring we provide top-tier service to our clients and their applicants, all while supporting our Nuclear Department team.
