About The Position

Nucor Steel Decatur, LLC is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Electrical Supervisor. This position has leadership responsibilities in the areas of safety, reliability, team development, cost control, and project management. They will also be responsible for the development and execution of reliability-based maintenance programs to ensure optimum performance of equipment for plant operations in multiple applications. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in team development, maintenance system management & successful project execution
Proven electrical maintenance experience in a steel mill environment
Technically proficient in electrical and automation aspects

Nice To Haves

Electrical maintenance experience in a Melt Shop
Associate or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
Geographic mobility and desire to promote
Four or more years of leadership experience

Responsibilities
