About The Position

The Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing the day-to-day activities within the maintenance department's electrical and mechanical areas. This role involves supervising employees, managing work orders, overseeing parts inventory, and administering the preventive maintenance (PM) program. The supervisor collaborates with other Maintenance Supervisors and the Maintenance Manager to ensure the maintenance budget is managed effectively to control spending and support plant operations. Additionally, the position focuses on developing, executing, and supporting solutions to improve process systems/energy performance, food safety, employee safety, and product quality.

Requirements

• Troubleshooting PLCs, electrical, and instrumentation is required.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet communications highly desired.
• Experience with AB, Siemens, TL, Wonderware, and/or Inductive Automation.
• Experience with mechanical systems/equipment.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and 70E codes.
• Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and accounting.
• Working knowledge of FDA and OSHA regulations, GMPs, Sanitation, and HACCP.
• Understanding of associated processing equipment and engineering.
• Principles and practices of continuous improvement concepts and related application technique.
• Pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
• Effectively manage and lead multiple projects with multidisciplinary teams toward a shared goal.
• Gain cooperation through discussion and persuasion.
• Identify, research, and analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, and project consequences of proposed actions.
• Effectively organize, plan, and execute.
• Use computers and computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
• Meet behaviors established in Tree Top's performance management and development process.
• Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining a preventive/predictive maintenance system.
• Minimum of 3 years working with PLCs for troubleshooting process issues.
• Proficient in the use of electrical test and instrumentation calibration equipment.

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, a Certification in Electrical or Instrumentation & Industrial Automation, or related field is preferred.
• Washington State electrical journeyman license or an out of state license with the ability to pass the WA state exam is preferred.
• HACCP Certification, SQF Certification, Food Safety Programs training, ammonia training, boiler operator training, and/or pneumatics training are preferred.
