The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor position. This position plans, supervises, directs, trains, and reviews the work of skilled, semi-skilled, and support staff performing journey-level electrical and electronic installation, maintenance, and repair of series wired airfield lighting and related systems, as well as navigational aids. This includes installing infrastructure to support said systems and maintenance and repair of support systems such as emergency generators and automatic transfer switches, uninterrupted power supplies, fire alarm systems, and medium voltage switch gear. This role ensures Part 139 compliance by following all FAA Advisory Circular requirements, as well as NEC, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. Further, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to successfully operate equipment in the Movement Area while effectively communicating with the FAA tower and/or pilots during times when the towers are closed at the County's General Aviation Airports.
