NP/PA - Primary Care Camillus
About The Position
At Crouse Medical Practice, the focus is on improving patients’ lives in an inclusive, close-knit work environment that prioritizes work-life balance. The NP/PA works under physician supervision and delivers a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments, monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients. The position has a Monday–Friday work week with no mandatory overtime. Compensation is based on experience and includes base pay and productivity incentives.
Requirements
- Current New York State certification or registration as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations and establish a leadership role during an emergency.
- Knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, issues, and approaches in the area of expertise.
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection-control standards.
- Knowledge of health promotion, health-risk identification, and patient-education principles and techniques.
Responsibilities
